We take a lot of pride in how we raise our animals. They are fed natural grasses and locally grown grains and forage - no growth hormones or feed-through antibiotics. We have chosen breeds of sheep that are known for mild flavor and we make sure they live good lives while they are with us.

2011 MEAT LAMB PRICING:

$2 a pound LIVE WEIGHT

Buyer pays processor directly (around $75 typically)

***This works out to $5 to $6.25 per pound of processed lamb final cost***

***You do not need to have a big chest freezer for your lamb meat - typical meat yield is 35 - 55 lbs depending on the size of the lamb and the processing***

PROCESSING:

Free delivery to Bernthal's Meat Packing in Frankenmuth is possible, we will have a group of lambs going for processing soon.

PLEASE NOTE:

*No "on farm" slaughter is allowed (we are not set up to accomodate this).

*If you purchase and are transporting your own lamb(s), you MUST have appropriate tranport - lambs will not be hog tied and put in trunk - truck with topper or enclosed trailer is fine.
